just got back from miami and had an awesome time. i've been really bad about blogging, but i have been keeping my twitter a lot more updated. say word. also, i have some tracks posted up on my facebook page. i have a few new ones that are almost done and will be up there soon too.

i've been slacking on blogging lately, but here are two recorded sets from shows i've done in new york lately. mostly unreleased tracks from miss fitz, john robert, van valen, myself, shaun reeves and more... atomly - blood and thunder iii @ the bunker new year's eve, brooklyn atomly - less @ annex, new york city i also have a lot of exciting shows coming up. i'll get them posted as soon as more details are confirmed. new tracks coming, too.

i was walking around union square today and noticed all of the ads about cell phones and how great coverage is with this company or that one. i think it'd be really awesome if one of the companies pulled a spinal tap and started having all of their phones go to six bars. that'd be an awesome commercial-- some dude in a cell phone store explaining to a prospective customer: our phones all go to six bars... look, right across the board... six, six, six and... oh, i see. and most phones go to five? exactly. does that mean the reception is better. is it any better? well it's one better, isn't it? it's not five.

things have been going great lately. the chicago show and the new york show were both a lot of fun and i was a lot happier with my sets than i was the one in philly. now that i'm getting back into my sets i'm starting to take more bookings, which is awesome. in addition to that, i've actually been making some new tracks, which is also exciting. the response to the tracks has been good and i've got an EP of some of my new tracks coming out on four life records, a new spanish label with a sweet roster. other than music, i've just been partying, watching movies and working... the usual. it's finally spring in new york, which is great. i'm excited about the summer.

finally, after almost exactly a year, i'm heading back to berlin for a few weeks. i'm leaving on friday (the 25th) and staying until february 10th. it's weird that i've been gone so long, but i can't wait to get back, even if for only a few weeks. even weirder is the fact that i think i'm actually going to really miss new york while i'm gone. anyway, if you're in the hood, hit me up. i think my german sim should still work, so you can call me at +49.176.6594.1389. holla

i finally got around to booking some new shows, which is awesome. it's been a while since i've played out and the break was much-needed, but i'm excited to get back to it. in addition to that, i've started working on tracks again, which is also awesome. look for some stuff to get posted up here soonish and some info on new releases that are in the works as well. also, it was my birthday last week, which was a ton of fun. i managed to get my friends to party with me like five nights in a row, culminating in an awesome dance party at my awesome new apartment on saturday night. my friends are awesome and i love my life, fyi. i'll get some pictures posted soonish. other than that and working (at fotolog, which recently got sold... yay stock options!), i've just been hanging out with friends a lot and seeing a lot of movies. some great stuff i've seen lately: no country for old men, charlie wilson's war, the diving bell and the butterfly, juno, michael clayton, eastern promises, cloverfield, etc... i still really need to see there will be blood and before the devil knows you're dead as well.
