2007.01.05.1217 :: i'm broader than broadway

new york is totally awesome, as usual. all of my shows last week went way better than i expected, which was awesome.

thursday was the "don't believe the hyph" party at the killing center in new jersey, which was just a lot of awesome music followed by a "fat mouse", which was amazing.

friday i headed back to new york and played at the bunker, which was also super awesome. i thought since it was a holiday weekend it might be kind of slow, but it was full and the people were totally into it, which was awesome. of course derek and bryan dropped awesome sets as well, which doesn't hurt. i also got an mp3 of my set from the bunker, which is pretty awesome if i do say so myself.

saturday was "the most awesome new years eve eve", which did exactly what it said on the tin. it turned out to be a house party with us playing techno on the main floor and a bunch of bands playing in the basement. when i heard it was a house party i wasn't sure what to expect, but it was packed wall-to-wall and the soundsystem was awesome. i didn't even make it down to check out the bands because it was too big of a pain to try to get through the place. full-on college style.

since then i've just been hangin out and havin fun. i hit up the wolf+lamb nye party and the bunker afterparty and didn't make it home til 11pm and last night i went to see eliot at i.s.s. at the tribeca grand. this weekend there's entirely too much going on as well, so we'll see.
