2006.10.10.1139 :: ein prosit to a prague spring... er, fall

my brother and his wife came to visit and we managed to pack a little too much into the short time we were here. hung out in berlin a bit, then rented a car and drove down the autobahn to munich for oktoberfest.

oktoberfest was exactly how you'd expect, but bigger. seriously, hundreds of thosands of people drinking beer all day in hilarious outfits singing along to traditional drinking songs and covers of 80s american pop songs. by the end of the day, every single person is dancing on the table. i personally only did 4.5 liters of beer, but that was mostly due to no sleep the night before (had to leave berlin at 4am to get there in time) and forgetting to drink water.

after that we got back to berlin and almost immediately the next morning got on a train to spend a day in prague. i'd never been there before and i loved it. we got there at like 3pm and just wandered around all day checking out all the sites and drinking some amazing beer (including some from the oldest brewpub in the world, which was awesome) until our 7am train back to berlin.

it was a bit ambitious, but it turned out to be a ton of fun and even worth those last few hours in prague where we just really wanted to sleep.

since then i've just been hangin out with the tesh club guys and partying. i'm moving today to my new spot and i'm hoping to get some more tracks done for my upcoming live shows and hopefully some new records.

speaking of lives shows, i'll be back in america in december/january and i'm looking for some shows while i'm back. you can check out my live shows page to see what i have so far, and there are a few more in the works that aren't up there. i'm especially looking for stuff in the northwest, since i feel like i've barely played up there (just the phoenix festival in 2002), so hit me up if you have any info on promoters to talk to in the us, canada or mexico. i'm doing techno, dubstep and breakcore shows while i'm back, so i'm open to anything.
