2006.09.01.1239 :: why i love berlin, reason number one million

last night i went to see james t. cotton at josef and he dropped a totally sick acid/jack set. it's unfortunate that germans can't jack, but it was still awesome to hear.

i got tired and decided i needed to leave, so i took off and was starting to walk toward ostbahnhof when i heard the unmistakable synth line of "midnight request line". of course i was intrigued, so i started walking toward the sound.

as i got closer and the dj mixed into some remix of "lion" by vex'd, i was walking toward a bunch of blinking, green cubes and realized i was heading to kubik, a place i'd read about but not been to yet. that place is super rad and there's no way it could ever exist in america, which is unfortunate.

anyway, berlin is cool. it's great to be back, though i'm still waiting to get settled into a place and get my studio set up so i can finally finish some tracks... hopefully soon.
