2006.03.23.1342 :: the man in black

there's a snack stand (these silly krauts would call it an imbiss) on my corner that plays johnny cash 24/7. it's insane. in the probably hundred times i've walked by at any time of day or night, they've been playing johnny cash every time except once- when they were playing "i wanna dance with somebody" by whitney houston. of course this constant johnny cash (and the tasty food) means that i eat there as much as is humanly possible.

the best part is that the dudes are all turkish and they don't speak a word of english. good to know that the late mr. cash gets his proper respect around the globe, regardless of any language barrier.
