2005.11.03.1303 :: derek was myspace for halloween

after giving up on it and making attempts to delete it several times, i've decided to give in and start updating my myspace music page. it seemed kind of frivolous, since i already have my own website with my songs and info about my upcoming shows (and lord knows i'm almost too lazy to update one site, much less two), but at least for the time being i'm going to try to put new tracks up there and keep the show listings up-to-date.

speaking of show listings, i'm playing two next week that should be awesome. another grime night at lava next monday with dj autobot and the residents, but i'll also have vyle on the mic for at least part of my set. and then i'm playing next saturday with johnny, jeffrey and eliot at tini martini. it's like my last three lofts combined into one show.

and speaking of putting tracks on the internet, i got an email today from the company handling my electronic distribution asking why i haven't given them any albums yet. oops, i'm going to do that tomorrow, so this time i actually mean it when i say you can get my shit off itunes and bleep soon. probably just bad beat and the split with enduser for now, but hopefully a grime record and a minimal/acid record soon too.
