2005.08.30.1843 :: it's grime to get limey

i finally started making grime beats that i'm ok with, so now i'm getting some verses for them from a few people and hopefully i'll get them posted soon. also, the grime night is coming up next monday (labor day), which i'm totally psyched for. i'll be dropping some of my new tunes in there along with a bunch of classic grime jams (or as much of a classic as there can be in a 4 year-old genre).

other than that, haven't been up to much. the show at lava last weekend was a lot of fun and the one the weekend before at tini martini was amazing. one of the best nights i've ever had out at a club, no doubt. i wasn't super happy with my set, but that stopped mattering as soon as funk went on. dude trainwrecked like every mix and still had the entire packed room (the club hit capacity at like 11:30) goin nuts. after that, i headed over to the other room and caught probably my favorite set i've ever heard out of derek. shit was nuts.
